Archdale Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital that strives to provide the very best veterinary services to animal companions throughout the Charlotte, NC area. For over 50 years, our animal clinic has provided a wide variety of veterinary services from animal teeth cleaning, to puppy shots, pet laser therapy treatments, on-site pet boarding, and more.

Our Animal Clinic is Open and will continue to be open our regular business hours for curbside service!

After years of being "walk-in only" clinic, our animal hospital has found it necessary with social distancing guidelines to begin taking appointments for veterinary services. This is to ensure the safety of our clients and staff by controlling the number of clients in our animal hospital at one time.

*For pet boarding and grooming- we have limited availability for current clients. Please call ahead to schedule if you wish to board or have your pet groomed.*

Schedule Your Appointment

Please call ahead at 704-552-2333 to schedule your appointment for veterinary services (In most cases we can schedule an appointment same day or within 1-2 days if there is no availability same day). Our animal hospital is still seeing patients for sick and well visits in Charlotte, NC.

Time of Your Appointment

At the time of your appointment please park in a numbered parking space and call the number listed (704-552-2333) to let us know you have arrived at our animal hospital and what parking space you are in.

Appointment Check-In

A Tech will check you in over the phone and a Doctor will be out to your car once check-in is completed

Our Charlotte, NC animal clinic serves as a general day practice with no appointments required. Any kitten and puppy vaccinations that we give your pet will be documented and you will receive a copy of the vaccination sheet for your personal records because you will need them. Most reputable pet boarding services require you to present all the kitten or puppy vaccinations your pet has received.

We have been going to see Dr George and his staff since we moved to Charlotte, NC in 1990. We now travel all the way from Waxhaw to see them. He has always taken great care of our cats. I would recommend Archdale Animal Hospital to anyone in the Charlotte area need care for their pets.

Really am impressed with this vet clinic. Both the doctors are so caring for the pets that they see. We have been seeing them for a few months with our new rescue dog and brought him in for an emergency. They appropriately send us to a emergency clinic where we had to have an involved surgery and long recovery. I don't think our little dog would be alive without their assistance. I love that you can see a vet without an appointment and all of their staff is so helpful and friendly. Good prices also on flea and tick and heartworm meds.

Five star service for a reasonable price. Need i say more? I was very pleased with the service, and the staff. Dr. George, and his staff are awesome.

It is a small business with extremely nice staff. They have very accomodating hours for those of us who work. And they don't charge an arm and a leg (and a tail) for services. I've been to a lot of vets in Charlotte over the past 20 years, and most of them have been good. However, this is the one I'm going back to for my next visit. Small town service in a big city.

I love Archdale Animal Hospital. They treat your pet like their own. Dr. George is willing to go through any and every question you have. If there is an issue he works with you to find the best option available to you. Every time you bring your pet its the same people so there is consistency. I can't imagine a better vet! The prices are completely reasonable!

Great facility: Dr. George and his staff are wonderful and care. Another plus is that it is walk-in only, and they can give you an estimate of how much this visit is going to cost before you and your pet see the doctor. And their prices are fair.

We have been taking our dogs to doctor George for over 15 years and have nothing but the best of care for our Shepherds. Doctor George always takes time with us to explain any issues. I trust this Vet more than my personal doctor. I can assure anyone they want find a better Vet!

Dr. George has always been thorough and takes time to answer any questions or concerns. We had a Chocolate Lab who saw Dr. George since he was 8 weeks until we had to put him down when he was 14 b/c of cancer. Now, I hear Dr. George telling our new puppy stories about our Lab while he's examining her. He is the perfect vet for our family!!!

Dr. George really gave my cat the personal attention he needed after an accident happened. He also took the time to personal find any other problems the cat had, which he did! He had a cold. I would recommend Dr. George and his knowledgeable staff to everyone.

Dr. George & staff are extremely caring and loving toward my pets. The office is clean, friendly, timely and extremely reasonably priced. My dog loves going to see Dr. George and I feel 100% comfortable taking her to him! I HIGHLY recommend!

I recently took my pit bull here and services were amazing! The employees were friendly, caring, and fast! Oh and the facility was clean. Definitely the best place to take your pets!

Dr. George has been a fantastic communicator with regard to my dog and the surgery he needed. He was clear and upfront about costs, which added a lot of peace of mind to an already challenging situation. Dr. George took a lot of time with us, and the discussion with the staff about my dog's condition was impressive. He seemed to be very team-oriented, including his assistants, and even me, the pet owner.

Dr George is amazing. Everyone at Archdale is so friendly, their prices are amazing, even heartworm medicine is cheaper than I can find online. I made the switch a few years ago from Southpark animal hospital and would never think of taking my animals anywhere else. They truly love what they do and are great at explaining everything!
